Mistaking carbolic acid for medicine given her by a physician was found by the coroners jury to have caused the death of Mrs.Bessie Edwards formerly of Decatur in St. Johns hospital in Springfield Sunday. According to witnesses who were with her when she died she had been ill in her roof?, 114 1/2 N. Sixth street,Springfield,since the death of her husband three weeks ago. The body was forwarded to Decatur for burial. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
