From 1910-1919 he owned and operated real estate and insurancy agency in Tecumseh, NE. 1910-1926 with his father as co-owners of Villars and Co. store in Brock, NE. store moved to Tecumseh in 1914. 1926-1938 manager and owner Villars and Co., sold in 1938. 1920-1922 special agent American Eagle Fire Ins. Co. 1923-26 adjuster, later special agent rain and hail dept. Aetna, North American and Springield Ins Co's; He was involved in many other organizations. He was a member of the Volunteer Fire Dept. 27 years. Scoutmaster 10 years. He was an owner of locomobile, said to me the oldest auto west of the Miss. River. He was a Methodist church member.
