Ella Docia Richardson-Carrell/Carroll was the daughter of James Henry Richardson (1850-after 1900) and Mary Barron-Richardson (Find A Grave Memorial# 28798940). She first appears in the 1880 census "Eller D. Richardson" with her parents and sisters. She married Charles R. Carrell/Carroll on 17 Jan 1895 in Angelina County. They spent the entirety of their married lives in that county where they raised their only child, Ovie.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents and her younger sister, Ellie Faye Richardson-Carroll-Going-Cupp. She was survived by her husband, daughter, and elder sister, Susannah E. Richardson-Morehead-Treadaway.
