Mary W. Barron was the eldest daughter of Francis Marion Barron and Mildred Ellen Hogue Walker. She was born in Nacogdoches County, but raised in Angelina County. On 22 Sep 1870, Mary married JAMES HENRY Richardson, the eldest child of HENRY SAMUEL Richardson and Mary Francis McClure, on 22 Sep 1870 in Angelina County (Texas, County Marriage Index, 1837-1977). Any other link to Henry S. Richardson is incorrect as listing him as the husband of this Mary.

Mary died after this 1880 census, but before the 1900 one.
Her maiden name was sometimes spelled Barren and Barnes.
