Lena Pauline Bennett, our loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on September 1, 2000, in Sandy, Utah. The daughter of A. J. and Maggie Bennett, Pauline was born on July 19, 1910 in Cordell, OK. She had 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Pauline married Orvil L. Adams December 17, 1927. They had 3 daughters; Imogene Shearer, Sandy, UT, Nadine Watters, deceased, and Ann (Tom) Adler, Sandy, UT. Pauline was a resident of Oklahoma City until 1995 when she moved to Sandy, UT to be with her daughter, Ann. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elsie Kirby; brothers, Archie, Freddie, Marvin, Elmer, and Earl Bennett; husband, Orvil, and daughter, Nadine. Her surviving sister, Juanita Gatlin, resides in Oklahoma City. She is also survived by 2 daughters, Imogene and Ann; 5 grandchildren: Ron Shearer, Jim Walters, and Mike, Dawn, and Terry Adler; five great grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. Services will be held Friday, September 8, 2000 at 2:00 PM at the Hunter Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
