In 1960, she married Thomas Edward Adler, to whom she remained married until his passing in 2019. Soon after their wedding, Tom and Ann moved to San Diego, CA where Ann gave birth to her favorite and only son, Michael Scott Adler (spouse Sheila Lee Adler).
Soon after, in 1963, the family moved to Winnemucca, Nevada where Dawn Marie Adler was born followed by Terri Lynn Adler (spouse Daniel Goldstein) in 1967 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
After a short stint in San Diego, California, the family eventually settled for good in Sandy, Utah. Throughout her life, Ann was a much beloved aunt to her nephews, Ronny Shearer and Jimmy Walters.
While she loved her children and nephews immeasurably, her grandchildren were the light of her life – Michael Andrew Adler, Katherine Ann Birkemeyer (spouse Corey Alan Birkemeyer), Aaron Adler Goldstein, and Aimee Rose Goldstein. She has also been blessed by criminally cute great grandchildren – Ryder Steele Allen and Isaac Raynor Adler.
Ann prided herself in becoming the Assistant Manager at Castleton's in Fashion Place Mall during the 1970s-1980s, where her fashion sense, people skills, and sense of humor served both her and her customers well.
An avid reader and captivating conversationalist, Ann enjoyed spending time talking and joking with family (especially with her grandkids) and playing weekly pinochle and/or bunko games with friends. She also adored her many cats (stray and otherwise) as well as anything with lots of sugar (especially See's candies).
She is survived and will be sorely missed by her children, her nephews, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and her good friends.
