Dwight Carlton Anglin, 67, of the Bending Chestnut community, died Sunday, Feb. 1, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Mr. Anglin was a factory worker and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of the Bending Chestnut Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Maxie Harris Anglin; two sons, Dwight Carlton Anglin and Anthony Patrick Anglin, all of the Bending Chestnut community, daughter, Angela Elizabeth Anglin of Franklin; four brothers, James Anglin, L.G. Anglin, George Rice Anglin and Guy Anglin; two sisters, Mamie Pewitt, all of the Bending Chestnut community, and Imogene Ray of Franklin; four grandchildren, Brian Anglin, Andrew Hubbell, Andrea Hubbell and Brittany Anglin. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Franklin Memorial Chapel with Tommy Fox officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Nephews served as active pallbearers.
