Clyde Devall, 64, of 415 Cox St., Simpsonville, died in a local hospital Wednesday at 4:25pm following two years of declining health and two days of serious illness.
He was the son of the late Edward C and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Hughes Devall.
Surviving are his wife Mrs. Omie Beasley Devall: two daughters, Mrs. J B Carroll of Greenville and Mrs. Katie Young of Simpsonville: One son, J C Devall of Simpsonville: eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Jones Funeral Home. Dated 3/30/57.
