He was a member of the Methodist Church and an Army veteran. He lived in Granbury all of his life and worked at the Granbury Locker Plant in his early years. He was a rancher in Cresson 15 years and retired from Brown and Root after 20 years.
He joined the Granbury Volunteer Fire Department in February 1954 and retired from the department in 1997 due to his health. At the time of his death, he was the oldest retired Granbury fireman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and two brothers.
Survivors: Wife of 48 years, Jean Robertson; son, Homer Robertson; grandson, Ty Robertson all of Granbury; and brothers, Henry Robertson of Tolar, Tommy Robertson of Granbury and Billy Robertson of El Dorado, Arkansas.
