Robert James Stewart, 61, of Burlington, Iowa died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2007, at his home in Burlington.
Born June 4, 1946, in Burlington, he was the son of James and E. Louise Atherton Stewart. On August 5, 1967, he married Marcia Kay Rouse in Burlington, Iowa.
Mr. Stewart was a truck driver for Vanwaters and Rodgers Chemical Company of Burlington. He served six years in the National Guard. He enjoyed the great outdoors, spending time with his grandchildren, camping, riding bicycles and being outside caring for his yard and trees. He was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
