Miss Carrie Martin, 70-year-old Magee resident, died July 12, 1972, at East Mississippi State Hospital, Meridian, after a long illness.
Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday from Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C. M. Grayson and the Rev. James M. Thornton officiating. Interment was at Pine Grove Cemetery. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home of Magee was in charge of arrangements.
The Simpson County native as born Aug. 5, 1901. She was a member of Goshen Baptist Church.
Survivors are a brother, Lessie Martin, Magee; and two sisters, Mrs. Lora Westmorland, Magee, and Mrs. Minnie Layton, Mendenhall.
