She will be best remembered for playing the role of 'Polly Nichols' the first victim of Whitechapel murderer Jack the Ripper in the crime mystery thriller film, "A Study In Terror" (1965). The film which was directed by James Hill, written for the screen by Derek Ford, based on characters by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and which also starred John Neville, Donald Houston, Frank Finlay, John Fraser, John Cairney, and a young Judi Dench, tells the story of the great master detective Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. John H. Watson who joins the hunt for the notorious serial killer, Jack the Ripper.
