Mrs. Minnie Conway, 78, died early Saturday at the family home, 672 Hoyt Ave., after an illness of nine months. She was a native of Ironton, Ohio, and had resided in Muncie for 35 years. Her husband, Charles, died in 1957.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Hilda Lykins, Mrs. Margaret Sibery, Mrs. Elizabeth Hickey, and Mrs. Cora Walker, all of Muncie, Mrs. Dorothy Jones, Gaston, and Mrs. Pauline Greer, Parker; three sons, Charles, Alfred, and Charles E. Conway, all of Muncie; three brothers, Earl, Harry and William Buck, all of Ironton; 32 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Parson Mortuary at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Thurman Oren in charge. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
