Charles Henry Conway, 82, Selma, died at Ball Hospital following an extended illness. He was a native of Ironton, Ohio, and had been a resident of Delaware County for the past 27 years, living in both Muncie and Selma. He moved to Selma from Muncie just two months ago. Mr. Conway was a member of the Church of God and was a retired farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Minnie; three sons, Charles Conway Jr., Selma, Alfred and Charles E. Conwary, both of Muncie; six daughters, Mrs. Hilda Lykins, Mrs. Dorothy Jones, Mrs. Margaret Siberry, and Mrs. Pauline Greer, all of Muncie, and Mrs. Elizabeth Hickey, and Mrs. Cora Butterfield, both of Selma; a sister, Mrs. Grover Allen, Franklin Furnace, Ohio; 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Parson Mortuary with the Rev. Lonnie Calloway and the Rev. John Pence in charge. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence on Rail Road Street in Selma after noon Friday and until one hour before the service. Callers will then be received at the mortuary until the time of the service.
