GRAND ISLAND - Lori P. "Sis" Whitefoot, 46, of Boelus died Friday, July 31, 2009, at St. Francis Skilled Care in Grand Island.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Ravenna with the Rev. Martin Egging officiating. Family burial will be later at Haystown Cemetery.

Visitation with the family present will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church with a wake service at 7:30 p.m.

Godberson Mortuary of Gibbon/Shelton is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Aug. 14, 1962, in Belfast, Maine, to Jack and Mary (Hall) Bowen.

In 1978, she married Don Meugerl.

In March 2009, she married Steve Whitefoot of Boelus.

Survivors include her husband; her father, of Grand Island; son, Jack (Mueguel); daughter, Kristina (Muegerl); brothers, Troy and Scott; six grandchildren; and stepsons, Josh and Jake (Whitefoot).
