Obituary

William Jackson ANDERSON was born in Boone County, Kentucky, July 31, 1866. He departed this life October 29th, 1936, at the age of seventy years, two months, and twenty-nine days.

At an early age he moved with his parents to Missouri and later of Marion, Kansas, where he married Jennie E. BRADLEY on Oct. 7, 18981. To this union was born five children; one girl and four boys. His wife preceded him in death April 13, 1909. They were united in the Methodist church to which they remained faithful.

On Nov. 17, 1918 he was united in marriage with Susie E. RADER. Those left to mourn his departure are: his wife, Susie E. ANDERSON, a daughter, Edith WILLIAMS of Petersburg, Tex. Four sons, James W. and Joseph A. of Shattuck, Alexander A. of Almont, Colo., and Oscar V. of Chicago, Ill. Also two stepsons, Earnest RADAR of Shattuck and Curtis RADER of Clinton, Okla. Seven grandchildren: Myrtle May WILLIAMS, Petersburg, Tex., Muriel and Joyce ANDERSON of Wichita, Kansas, Don RADER of Shattuck, Naomi, Georgia and Frankie RADER of Clinton, Okla. Three brothers: Geo. B. of San Diego, Calif., James C. of Shattuck, and Joseph of Wichita, Kans.; a stepbrother, John HARBOUR of Higgins, Tex. Also a host of relatives and friends. HE was a member of the Joppa lodge 262. He moved to Oklahoma in 1899, homesteading a claim. He moved to Shattuck in 1905 where he passed away. He was a kind father and a devoted husband and a friend to all.
