Jewell Davis, 88, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011, at a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Carolyn, Marilyn and Doris.
Survivors include her sons, John Wayne Davis and Vernon Davis Sr.; daughters, Jean, Geraldine and Betty; a host of grandchildren and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Highland Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon today with the family receiving friends from 6-7 p.m. today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, Chattanooga, TN.
