MARION - Mrs. Delia T. Claud died at a local hospital at 7 p.m. Monday after several weeks of illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Smith Brothers Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. B. F. Allen. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
She was born in Drewryville, Va. and had lived in Marion for about 35 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marion.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Josh Leigh of Drewryville; her husband, Charlie C. Claud; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Benke of Charleston and Mrs. Clio Williamson of Mullins; five sons, Joseph Claud of Mobile, Ala., Charles Claud of Chattanooga, Pete Claud of the Navy, Clarence Claud of Charleston and Billy Claud of Charlotte; a sister, Mrs. J. M. Claud; a brother, William Leigh; and a half brother, Peter Thomas of Drewryville.
