MARION - Charlie Claud, 74, died yesterday afternoon in a local hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Smith Brothers Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lewis McCormick will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Eloise Williamson of Mullins and Mrs. Murial Benke of Charleston; five sons, Billy Claud of Charlotte, Clarence N. Claud of North Charleston, P. P. Claud of Tampa, Fla., Charles B. Claud of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Joe T. Claud of Mobile, Ala.; and one sister, Mrs. Hugh White of Holland, Va.
