Funeral for Oval Guy Brown, 73, who died Friday in a Denison hospital, will be Monday 2 p.m. at the Colbert Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Colbert cemetery under the direction of Coffey Funeral Home.
Mr. Brown was born in Calico Park, Arkansas, November 3, 1909 and married Christine Cooper August 15, 1929,in Colbert. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the First Baptist Church of Colbert.
Survivors include his wife of Colbert; two sons Clyde of Colbert and Bill of Denison; a daughter Mrs. Max Price of Sherman; two brothers Victor Brown of Denison and Vernon Brown of Durant; a sister Mrs. Hazel Park of Denison; seven grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
