Mrs. Elsie O Berry, 82, of Shiloh in King George County died Tuesday, Dec 8, 1998, at Mary Washington Hospital after a short illness.

A native and lifelong resident of King George, Mrs. Berry was a former manager of Stuckey's Pecan Shoppe in King George for 15 years. She was a lifelong member of Shiloh Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Betty Parker Bible Class. She was the window of Luther J. Berry.

Survivors include three daughters, Anne B. Huesmann of Waunakee, Wis., Norma B. Connelly and Jettie B. Cover, both of Fredericksburg; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will he held at 11 a.m., Thursday at Shiloh Baptist Church, with the Rev. William Bragdon and the Rev. Charles Anderson Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Barker, Mike Gray, Dwight Storke Jr., Tom Yancey, Robert Holmes and Frankie Jett. Members of the Shiloh Baptist Church Senior Men's Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 3:30 to 5 and 7 to 8:30 today at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, King George.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery Maintenance Fund, 13457 Kings Highway, King George, Va. 22485.
