ASHBY, HILDA FLOYD, 96, born June 30, 1908 in Dallas, TX and passed from this life January 2, 2005 in Dallas. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Richardson and served as their first choir director. Hilda was retired after 20 years as a postal clerk with the U.S. Postal Service, Richardson TX. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ashby, daughter Barbara Ashby Rogers and son-in-law Jack Rogers, great-granddaughter, Caley Ashby. Survivors included children Dr. Richard Ashby and wife Shirley and Bob Ashby and wife Zoe; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In Lieu of Floral Tributes the family wishes memorials be made to the Alzheimers Association. Graveside services will be 2 P.M.
