Mary Lou Mosley LeCornu, granddaughter of James Mosley, said that there was some type of dispute in the family, she would not say what it was, and some of the family members changed their name to Moseley because of that. The tombstone in Midway Cemetery was put there by the Moseley family members and that is the difference in the spelling of the name on the memorial. The name from Tennessee is Mosley.
