OBITUARY-"Clarion-Ledger", Jackson, MS, "Apr 20, 1939
VARDAMAN- Funeral services were held yesterday for R. M. Moseley, 81, prominent merchant-planter of Vardaman, who died at his home here Monday.
Rites were held from the Methodist Church here with the Rev. C. W. Smallwood of Ethel, assisted by the Rev. R. C. Mayo, his pastor, of Vardaman; the Rev. A. M. Gamble of Vardaman and the Rev. R. E. Clark of Pittsboro, officiating.
He is survived by a grandson, C. E. Lecornu of Jackson and three daughters, Mrs. W. W. Blue, Miss Willie Moseley, Mrs.
G. E. Lecornu, all of Vardaman. He also leaves eight other grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were J. D. Walton, H. M. Canada, H. B. Morrow, C. D. Scarbrough and John Herrod. Burial was made in the Hillcrest Cemetery at Vardaman.
