Glen Donald Spradling, 67, of Gravesville, Ark., died April 10, 2003, at the Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway.
He was born June 30, 1935, in Poplar Bluff, the son of the late Dines and Bessie Pennington Spradling.
He was united in marriage to Mary Hamilton on Oct. 6, 1961, and she survives to treasure his memory.
Other survivors include two daughters, Connie Sue Aldridge and husband, Mike, of Springhill, Ark., Michelle Lea Burdin and husband, Michael, of Gravesville, Ark.; two step-granddaughters, Misty Carter of Conway and Dominique Smith of Roland, Ark.; a very special little sweetheart of a granddaughter, Suzanne Nichol Burdin of Gravesville, Ark.; one brother, Charles Spradling of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Dorothy Pratt of Poplar Bluff and Bonnie Lea Dicks and husband, Guy, of Dexter; a very special little Red Daschund, named Rosebud; and many other friends and family members to grieve his crossing and cherish his memory.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2003, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Gary Hancock officiating. Burial followed in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis. Pallbearers were Mr. Spradling's nephews, Allen Spradling, Robert Spradling, Ronnie Inman, Tom Hamilton, Timmy Welty, and Brian Leuter. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
