Mrs. Leona Gerholt of 30 East Water Street, Mount Union, died unexpectedly at her home at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 1964.
She was born March 15, 1917, at Mount Union, R.D., a daughter of Harry and Emma (Garman) Lantz. She was married to Lewis Gerholt and he preceded her in death in 1962.
Her mother survives along with three children: Mrele at home, Charles of California and Mrs. William (Ruth) Traxler of Shade Gap. Also surviving are two brothers, Clair Lantz of Washington State and Carl Lantz of Lewistown.
Funeral serviced will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Novemeber 28, at the Clark Funeral home in Mount Union. The Rev. Frank Crawford will officiate. Interment will be made in the Mount Union IOOF Cemetery. Friends are being received at the funeral home until the hour for the service.
