"Peter Reasner, born July 15, 1779, died Oct. 27, 1829, who was probably a son of George and Catharine Reasner, is buried in the Geisenberg Lutheran Cemetery in Montgomery Co., N. Y. He was married to Sarah.

"At the time of his death Peter Reasner owned a farm of 150 acres, situated on the Otsquaga Creek in Minden, N. Y., which is described, in a deed of March 4, 1833, as part of Lot 8 of the Livingston patent and part of Lawyer's Patent. It was bounded east by lands of Jacob Coopman, north by lands of Peter Elwood, Jacob G. Snyder and Jacob Waggoner, west by lands of John C. Young and Abraham Moyer and south by the center of Otsquaga Creek.

"This deed conveyed the interest of five of the eleven heirs of Peter Reasner, from Peter Reasner, Jr., and James Reasner to John Smith. It also conveyed the reversionary interest of these five heirs in the "Rights of dower now held by Rachel Snvder and Sarah Reasner.

"He also owned 39 acres of land in Newstead, Erie Co., N. Y. There is recorded at Buffalo, Erie Co., N. Y., a deed, executed Oct. 9, 1845, which conveyed the interest of ten of the children of Peter Reasner to his other child, Christopher Reasner.

"The children of Peter and Sarah Reasner were:
1. James, who, with his wife, Harriet, lived in Shelby, Orleans Co., N. Y., in 1845;

2. John, born Feb. 23. 1805, baptised Feb. 24, 1805, Melchoir and Anna Bauder, sponsors, died Oct 6, 1872, buried at Climax, Mich., married to Betsey Ann, son, Robert, born Nov. 11, 1827, lived at Rovalton, Niagara Co., N. Y., in 1845;

3. Rachel, born Feb. 23, 1807, baptised March 1, 1807, Jacob Schnyder and Catharine Hoch, sponsors, married to Jacob P. Harder, in 1845 lived in St. Clair Co., Mich., daughter, Mary Catharine, born Oct. 27, 1828, baptised Feb. 1, 1829, Jacob Henry and Polly Harder, sponsors; son, John Henry, born Feb. 27, 1827, baptised March 6, 1827;

4. Jacob, born Jan 8. 1809, baptised Jan. 15, 1809,
John Schnevder and Magdalene Hoch, sponsors, married to Lucy Ann, born Oct. 15. 1813, died Feb. 1882, daughter of George and Ragena (Sprecher) Countryman (Family No. 471 — Countryman);

8. Maria (Mary), born March 9, 1818, baptised March 22, 1818, Peter Bauder and Maria Hoch, sponsors, married to Noel Rice, lived in Calhoun Co., Mich., in 1845;

9. Elizabeth, born May 1, 1820. baptised May 14, 1820, John Countryman and Elizabeth Hoch, sponsors, married to Edwin P. Rice, lived in Seneca Co., N. Y., in 1845;

10. David, lived in Seneca Co., N. Y., in 1845;
