She was born Sept. 22, 1919, in Reevesville, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Lena Moorer Hutto. She was a member of the Prospect Southern Methodist Church, a past member of the Women Missionary, past member of the Eastern Star, and was retired from the Branchville School Food Service and a life long resident of the community.
Survived by her husband of 65 years, Herman P. Myers of Branchville; two daughters, Mrs. Janet (Franklin) McAlhany of Branchville and Mrs. Lena (Donnie) Kizer of St. George; one brother, Willian Wesley Hutto; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Reeves, Mrs. Irene Felder and Mrs. Alice Hartzog, all of Reevesville; three grandchildren, Franklin McAlhany Jr., Beth Kizer McMillan and Don Kizer; four great-grandchildren, Trey McAlhany, Tyler McAlhany, Tyler McMillan, Erin McAlhany and Amelia Kizer; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home or at the home.
