Alberto Galassi, resident of Millbrae, passed away on October 31, 2010 in Burlingame. He was 89. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Isolina; his daughter Marisa Koenig (her husband, Dennis) and son, Rob Galassi (his wife, Denene) and three grandchildren, Michael Koenig, Lisa Koenig and Kayla Galassi. He was a native of Marche, Italy and retired from Sunset Scavenger. Family and friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 3, 2010 and attend the Vigil service at 7:00 PM at CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS, 194 Millwood Drive at El Camino Real in Millbrae. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 4, 2010, 10:00 AM at St. Dunstan Catholic Church, 1133 Broadway in Millbrae. Committal will follow the services at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Los Altos. Chapel of the Highlands, Millbrae, CA, (650) 588-5116, chapelofthehighlands.com.
