Zenda Roderick Taylor, age 68, passed away October 6, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born August 25, 1922 in Preston, Idaho, she was raised in Montpelier, Idaho, where she married Evan L. Taylor March 15, 1941; marriage was solemnized later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After raising three daughters, she went back to school and earned a degree in nursing. She served as Relief Society teacher and worker in the Jordan River Temple for several years. She served a mission for the LDS Church in Florida and in the Salt Lake Church offices. She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan Taylor, parents, David P. and Elizabeth Hawkins Roderick, and nine brothers and sisters.

Survived by daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Rae Del) Jensen of Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. William (Paulette) Jones of Anchorage, Alaska; and Pat Marshall of Phoenix, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jed and Ralph Roderick; sisters, Beth Dorsey, Ivene Williams; and Merle Tagtow; and numerous friends.

She will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, october 9, 1990, at 2 p.m., in the Millcreek 5th LDS Ward, 3805 South Main St. Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m., at Memorial Estates, 5850 South 900 East, and Tuesday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
