She was born August 24, 1908, in Arbon, Id., to David and Elizabeth Hawkins Roderick.
She married Lyle Clinton Stephens June 24, 1924.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in all the auxiliaries. She and her husband were temple directors of their ward for two years, and then served as officiators at the Logan Temple for five years. She was a seamstress.
She is survived by her husband of Montpelier; one son and daughter-in-law, Roger L. and Barbara Stephens, Logan; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters, Beth Dorsey, Zenda Taylor, Ivene Williams, Merl McNelley and Ralph Roderick, all of Salt Lake City, Jed Roderick, Bountiful; Earl Roderick, Pocatello; and David Roderick, Montpelier. She was preceded in death by two infant children; one son, Lyle Clinton Stephens; one daughter, Doris Rae Hunt; four brothers, William, Elmer, Preston and Joe; and two sisters, Vera and Ilene.
Funeral services were Saturday, August 5, in the Bennington LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
