Mr. Spinar was born at Omaha, Nebr., Sept. 8, 1894, son of the late Frank J. Spinar and Mrs. Frances Barta Spinar. He lived most of his life in Nebraska in Omaha and at Red Bird. Seven years ago he came to central Missouri and had resided on his farm, Route 1, Cole Camp.
Mr. Spinar was a veteran of World War I, having served 18 months in the Navy.
He was married at O'Neill, Nebr. Nov. 8, 1922, to Miss Jane Witherwax. They were the parents of five children. One son, Phillip James Spinar, died in infancy.
Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Jane Spinar; three sons, Elvin Spinar, Route 1, Cole Camp, Harold Spinar, of the home, and Harry Spinar, Route 2, Windsor; one daughter, Mrs. John Hartsock, Route 2, Green Ridge, his mother, Mrs. Frances Spinar, Colome, S.D.; four brothers, Joe Spinar and Jerry Spinar of Colome, S.D.; Edward Spinar, Rapid City, S.D.; and Charles Spinar, Princeton, S.D.; four sisters, Miss Frances Spinar and Miss Rosie Spinar, Colome, S.D.; Mrs. Mary Pochop, Clinton, S.D., and Mrs. Bessie Kervonic, Colome, S.D.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the Ewing Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery at Windsor.
The body is at the Ewing Funeral Home.
