Adam Daubert, son of Jacob Daubert and Catharina Walther, was born 12 August 1834. Adam was baptized on 24 August 1834 in Glashütten, Hessen, Germany. (Germany, Lutheran Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1500-1971)

On 16 July 1857, Adam (age 22) married Katharina Übener (age 22), daughter of Heinrich Adam Übener and Margaretha Anna Kaiser, in Glashütten. (Germany, Lutheran Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1500-1971) Adam and Katharina had eight daughters, all born in Glashütten. One daughter, Mary, died in infancy and is buried in Glashütten. Three of the daughters, Katharina, Johanna and Wilhelmina, all married in Glashütten.

Adam (age 51) and his wife, Katharina (age 51), and the three youngest daughters, Carolina, Anna and Bertha arrived in New York City on 17 April 1886 aboard the ship “Ems.” The family settled in Wauwatosa, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin where Adam worked at a butcher shop.

Adam (age 66) died on 15 July 1901 (Tombstone) and is buried in Wauwatosa Cemetery.
