The Syracuse Herald Journal, Wednesday September 22, 1948, page 18, published the following obituary:

Della M. Perkins Services Friday

Funeral Services will be held in the C.R. Eaton Funeral Home, Syracuse, Friday at 2:00 PM, for Mrs. Della M. Perkins, 91, widow of Jerome C. Perkins, who died yesterday at her home in Fay Road, near Fayetteville.

The body will be cremated and burial of the remains will take place in Fayetteville Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow afternoon and evening.

Born in Syracuse in 1857, Mrs. Perkins had lived in Fayetteville for many years. She was a graduate of Syracuse University. In 1892, she was married to Mr. Perkins, who died several years ago.

Mrs. Perkins was a member of the Fayetteville Grange of the New York State Historical Society, and was a life member of the Onondaga County Historical Society.

Survivors are two sons, Authur Mills of Fayetteville and Monroe Perkins of Syracuse, and two grandchildren, Mrs. Eugene Martin and Monroe Perkins Jr.
