Monroe G. Perkins, of 206 Hawthorne St., a veteran employee of the Syracuse Transit Corp. died yesterday in Crouse-Irving Hospital after a short illness.

A life resident of Syracuse. Mr Perkins was a member of East Genesee Street Presbyterian Church. He was a past grand and an active trustee of Westminster Lodge, I.O.O.F.; a member of Manlius Encampment, I.O.O.F., and Division 580 A.M.A.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Marguerite Belding Perkins; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene L. Martin (Lois Jane) of Scotch Plains, NJ, a son, Monroe G. Perkins Jr.,; a brother, Arthur M. Perkins, and three grandsons.
