In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, John Elmer Bryant and granddaughter, Brandi Roseann Worrell.
Survivors included one daughter, Teresa Bryant Worrell and husband, Frank of Galax; one sister, Iris Pope Bailey of Winston Salem, NC; one sister-in-law, Rose Harrell Parks of Galax; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Beth Worrell and Khy Carico both of Galax; great granddaughter, Amanda Carico of Independence; great great granddaughter, Payton Rose Arnold of Independence; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 11am at Monta Vista Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Randy Morris will officiate. Following the service family will gather at The First Christian Church of Galax for a dinner provided by the church. Family will receive friends Monday, October 24, 2011 from 5:30 to 7:30 at Twin County Funerals. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The First Christian Church General Fund, Galax, VA. The Bryant family is gathering at 124 Country Club Lane where family and friends may call or visit. Twin County Funerals is serving the Bryant family.
