Anthony Bartholomai, 67 years old, an H.C. Frick veteran, died this morning at 2 o'clock at his home 512 Connell avenue and Second street, following a 15 month illness of complication of diseases. Deceased was born in Burn, Westfallen, Germany, November 18, 1853, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Bartholomai. He came to this country 44 years ago, settling in Connellsville where he resided until death.

He was employed by the H.C. Frick Coke Company for a number of years and of late had lived retired. Mr. Bartholomai was widely and favorably known throughout the coke region. He was a member of a local Germany society of the Immaculate Conception church and of the H.C. Frick Veteran's association.

His widow, Mrs. Agatha Bartholomai and the following children: Mrs. Anna Rohland, Henry, Joseph J., George, and Anthony, all of Connellsville, Mrs. William Hart, at home; Mrs. Grace Rittenbeger, of Juniata; Mrs. Christina Geiger of Greensburg; one brother, Joseph Bartholomai, three sisters, Mrs. Anna Heckman, Mrs. Theresa Fogle, and Mrs. Elizabeth Brocker, all of Germany; 38 grandchildren, one great grandchild, one grand son-in-law, Leo Cronin, of Connellsville, and one grand daughter-in-law, Mrs. John Rock, of Miami, Fla., survive. A son, Paul, died 18 months ago.

The funeral will be held Friday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the house and at 9 o'clock at the Immaculate Conception church.
