Johanna was a sister to Anna (Gletne) Thomas, who is also buried in North Buffalo Cemetery. She was an early member of the North Buffalo Lutheran Church in Kragnes Township, MN. Her middle name was likely "Knutsdatter" like her sister, Anna.

Services Tuesday for Mrs. Marks' Mother

Reverend Roy Harrisville, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, will officiate at funeral services for Mrs. Johanna Aggerholm, former resident of Kragnes who died Sunday in a hospital at Anoka.

Services will be held at the North Buffalo church, with burial in the church cemetery.


Mrs. Aggerholm was born April 30, 1872, in Christianstad, Norway. She came to this country when she was 16 years old, coming directly to the vicinity of Kragnes. She lived there most of her life.


She is preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1924.


She leaves the following children: Mrs. Leo Marks, 1123 Third avenue south; Mrs. John Buckmaster, rural Fargo; Miss June Aggerholm, Fargo; Mrs. E. H. Williams, Detroit Lakes, and Carl, Pembina, N. D. She leaves one brother, Jens Gletne, in Norway.


The body is at the A. J. Wright and Sons funeral home.


Mrs. Harrisville will be the soloist at the services and Miss Delia Dahl the organist.
