According to the Minnesota Birth Index, Kathrina was born on June 6, 1902, and her twin, Christine was born a day later. For reasons unknown, Christine's grave marker lists her birth year as 1900 and Kathrina's grave marker lists her birth date as June 4 instead of June 6. Both of their birth records list their mother as "Mathilda," and the registration numbers are one apart from each other, thus confirming that Kathrina and Christine were twins.
