OBITUARY.

William Scott MILLIKIN was born in Washington Co. Penn., in 1864, and came with his parents to this city when about 9 years of age and grew to manhood here. At an early age he took up the study of civil engineering came to be quite an expert in his line. For some time past he has been located at Houston, Texas, where he was chief engineer for the Bonham & McKimey Electric railway. He also had an office there from which he conducted a large amount of work for his services were always in great demand. About two months ago his brother Joe, of this city joined him and worked with him. A few days before his death he was stricken with paralysis and died Sunday evening Nov. 13. The body was brought to this city Thursday evening and the funeral services were conducted yesterday afrernoon (sic) at the home of his mother on East Broadway at 2.30 o'clock by Rev. Alex. Corkey, and the remains were tenderly laid to rest in the Evergreen cemetery. He is survived by an aged mother and his brother Joe. The sympathy of a host of friends are extended to the bereaved ones.
