   Bernice Irene McKinney Nodruff, 84, went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2003, in Fort Myers, Florida. Bernice was born the daughter of James Franklin McKinney and Flossy Irene Baines on August 3, 1919, in Divernon, Illinois. She was predeceased by her husband, Burton Nodruff, in 2001. Burt and Bernice relocated to Florida from Aurora, Illinois in 1962.
    During her life, Bernice was an active member of several churches, such as Crossway Baptist Church, Faith Baptist Church, Gospel Baptist Church, and Winkler Road Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school, Junior church, and Vacation Bible school for many years and touched the lives of many children. Bernice enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, playing cards, crocheting, sewing, travelling, and going to the beach. Her fondest memories were of living at Fort Myers Beach surrounded by her friends and family. Bernice will be greatly missed.
    Bernice is survived by her two children, Roger Nodruff and Vikki Richardson; seven grandchildren, Brian, Greg, Jeff, Zeke, Jason, Jennifer, and Anna; and ten great grandchildren, Christopher, Lauren, Krissie, Carson, Tanner, Ava, Camille, Olivia, Alex, and Kendall.
    Visitation with friends and family will be Wednesday, September 24, 2003, from 5-8pm at Lee Memorial Park. Memorial services in celebration of Bernice's life will be held Thursday, September 25, 2003, at 10am at Lee Memorial Park with Pastors Bill Lytell and Don Strange. The graveside service will immediately follow. Inn lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gospel Baptist Church located in Bonita Springs, Florida or to Winkler Road Baptist Church located in Fort Myers, Florida.
