Funeral Set
For Morrison

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday for Perry Hayden Morrison, 91, who died at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Ottumwa Hospital after a lengthy illness.

The funeral will be conducted at the Wagler Funeral Home by the Rev. Loyal Hepker of Ottumwa. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.

He was born December 16, 1881 in Davis County to Thomas and Nancy Forsythe Morrison. He was a retired farmer and spent most of his life in the Bunch area, moving to Ottumwa in 1967.

He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Christian Church. He married Ellen Johnson on April 7, 1907. She preceded him in 1966.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Stufflebeam of Ottumwa, Mrs. Mayda Williams of Leslie, Arkansas, Mrs. Alice McVay of Burlington and Mrs. Edith Powell of Fullerton, California; one brother, Luther Morrison of Bunch; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, six brothers and four great-grandchildren.
