Death of Henry Kraft; Former Owatonna Man Died at Osage, Iowa.
The remains of the late Henry H. Kraft were brought to Owatonna Thursday, February 26, 1914, from Osage, Iowa, for burial.
Mr. Kraft's death is greatly mourned by a host of friends both in Owatonna and in Osage.
Mr. Kraft was born in Elkton, Minnesota, December 27, 1887, and at the time of his death was 27 years, one month and twenty-one days old. He is a son of Mrs. Herman Kraft. Mr. Kraft will be remember by many Owatonna people.
He came to Owatonna three years ago and had employment with the Enterprise Laundry two years. Later he and his family moved to Osage, Iowa, where Mr. Kraft bought a laundry.
On the 30th day of March Mr. Kraft was married to Miss Julia Jorgenson of Steele County. Mr. Kraft is survived by a sorrowing wife and two children, namely Florence, two years old, and Paul, one month old, besides his mother, six sisters and four brothers. Mr. Kraft's death was caused by heart trouble.
The funeral services were held Friday, February 27th, 1914, at the German Lutheran Church on Oak Street.
The remains were laid to rest in the German cemetery. The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
