Funeral services for A.W. Strickland, 69, who died Friday afternoon at the Druid City Hospital of burns received at his Buhl home Jan. 17, were held Saturday morning at Pate Cemetery, Jones and Spigener in charge. Strickland's clothing caught fire at his home when he fell into an open fireplace. Surviving are his wife and eight children.
