Mrs. Burroughs
Mrs. K. F. Burroughs, 61 of Hagler Lane, died this morning at Druid City Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Fairview Wesleyan Methodist Church on Hargrove Road with Rev. Jerry Hanson and the Rev. Roy White officiating.
Survivors include her husband Kennie Burroughs, nine sons, James P. Burroughs of Cottondale, Carl F. Burroughs of Alberta City, Horace L. Burroughs of Tuscaloosa, Floyd A. Burroughs of Tuscaloosa, Leonard B. Burroughs of Gordo, Murry J. Burroughs of Cottondale, Charles C. Burroughs of Tuscaloosa, Wallace O. Burroughs of Holt and Billy G Burroughs of the U.S. Navy; three daughters, Mrs. Blanche Cook of Cottondale, Mrs. Lois Wood of Duncanville, and Mrs. Barbara Evans of Tuscaloosa; two sisters Mrs. Jack Keebler and Mrs. Annie Lou Alexander both of Mobile; one brother James P. Strickland of Augusta, Maine. 34 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be John T. Allen, Tommie Lee Allen, Richard Massey, J.L. Osment, Morris Rainey and Everett Yeager.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Herman Breland, Lem Hamner, Barrett Osment, H.W. Hutchins, Clyde Hutchins, P.E. Yeager, Jess Wood, William Coons, Dr. James Thomas and Dr. Otis Jordan.
Burial will be in Memory Hill Gardens with Spigener-Brown Service in charge of arrangements.
