Mrs. Bertha Oatman, 82, died in a local hospital Thursday. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Homer Ing of El Paso, Mrs. B. F. James of Austin, Mrs. H. A. McNiel of Houston, Mrs. Ed L. Starr of East Bernard, and Mrs. Exbee Hooper of Ukiah, Calif.; three sons, John Oatman of Sedalia, Mo., Joseph Weldon Oatman of Harlingen, and Marshall Oatman of Olympia, Wash.; three brothers, Willie Zenner of Fredericksburg and Harry Zenner of San Antonio; 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Cook Funeral Home. Requiem mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph J. Schmitt officiating. Burial will be in Mr. Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Puckett, Edward Starr Jr., Lawrence Parker, Vernon Wattinger Jr., Raymond Dell Puckett, and John Lawrence Parker.
