Leslie "Dutch" Kimble, 78, of Arthur died Monday, October 28, 1985 at Grant Memorial Hospital.
Born Mar 31, 1907 in Pendleton County, he was a son of the late Wesley Kimble and Relza (Kimble) Kimble. He was also preceded in death by one son, two brothers, one sister, three half brothers and two half sisters.
Mr Kimble was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Edna (Landis) Kimble; seven sons, Curtis Kimble, UpperTract, Ora "Bill", Petersburg, Dewey Kimble and James Kimble, both of Maysville, Paul Kimble, Lahmansville, Evers Kimble and Wayne Kimble , both of Arthur; three daughters, Lois VanMeter, Cabins, Juanita Evans, Maysville, Jane Sites, Petersburg; four sisters, Edna Alt, Petersburg, Mabel Alt, Upper Tract, Dessie Heavner and Minnie Shreve, both of Keyser; one half sister, Miss Nettie Kimble, Petersburg; 27 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted today (Wednesday) at 2 PM at the Schaeffer Funeral Home chapel by Rev Stanley Kile and the Rev Luther Travis. Interment will be in Lahmansville Cemetery.
