William Wesley Kimble was the 4th of 11 children born to Alfred and Phoebe (Shirk) Kimble. He was born in Shreve which is in Smoke Hole. He married Savannah Bell Alt daughter of Isaac Alt and Rebecca (Johnson) Alt. They are the parents of 6 children. Alfred Vincent, Della Susan, Nettie, David ,Earnest and Zola. Savannah died in 1895 and he married Relza Kimble in 1902. Of this marriage 8 children were born;Zella Bell,Edward Guy, Obed Berkley, Leslie Brison, Mabel Virginia, Edna Opal, Minnie Grace, and Dessie. He died in Branch which is part of Smoke Hole. Cause of death was gradual weaking of the heart, contributory was typhoid fever. Place of burial is listed as home.
