Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Smith Chapel, with Rev. Father Kemper officiating, for Mrs. Jacob Klein, 69, who died Monday morning in a local hospital suffering a heart ailment and complications. Interment was in the Garden of Memories.
Mrs. Rosa Lang Klein was born in Fredericksburg, and moved here with her family about 15 years ago. The had reside at 944 Water Street during their residence here. Mrs. Klein had been in failing health for several years, but had been acutely ill but a short time.
She is survived by her husband and seven children, Edgar Klein of Harper, Mrs. Ralph Stockard, Los Angeles, Calif., and Walter Klein, Mrs. Laura Keller, A. C. Klein, Louis P. Klein and Elmer Klein, all of Kerrville, and 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. There are also five brothers, Charles and Hilmar Lang of Fredericksburg; Herman Lang, Mason, and Felix and Alfred Lang of El Paso, and a sister, Mrs. Fred Knopp, Fredericksburg.
Pallbearers were Ruben Klein, A. J. Lochte, Pat Nalls, John Heimann, Jr., Walter Lorenz, and Ed Kennedy.
