Lanae Dennis Urbani, 85, passed away October 13, 2011 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was born June 4, 1926 in Malad, ID the fourth child of Thomas Julian and Beatrice Anna Weeks Dennis. From Malad, she went to ISU in Pocatello and then to San Francisco/Bay Area where she resided for many years. She married Esmale "Tiz" Urbani in 1963. He passed away in 1983.
She was a good, independent, feisty sort of woman with many interest and talents, particularly art, crafts and reading. She learned dressmaking and sewing skills from her mother and grandmother and used those skills to the benefit of others. She delighted in finding solutions to problems. One of her oft quoted books was How Things Work in Your Home (and What to Do When They Don't). She enjoyed helping the ones she loved and creating a home for her husband.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she goes now to her heavenly home to rejoin her beloved husband, parents, sister, Ardith, and brother Julian along with other loved ones. She is survived by her brother Ron, sister Mona, her daughter Sharon, grandson Todd (Judy) Henney, and many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Friends may call prior to the services from 12:00-12:45p.m. Interment will be in the Los Gatos Memorial Park in San Jose, CA
